2018/19 finish:  Premier Division 11th

Star Man: Last season Chadderton had three players all finish as their top goalscorer on seven goals. Those players were Niall Barnes, Alireza Farhadi & Matthew Steven Booth. Distance from the Manchester Communications Academy: 15-minute drive (5.1 miles)

Getting to the ground: You can get to Chadderton FC by Bus. From Manchester Picadilly, you get either the 181 or 182 and get off at Middleton Road and it’s a five-minute walk to the ground.

Head to Head: The two sides have met nine times with Central claiming three victories, Chadderton Reserves with one victory and there have been five draws between the two teams.

Last Meeting: Chadderton Reserves 2 Manchester Central 2 (13 April 2019): Central travelled to Chadderton knowing only three points would be enough if they wanted to take the title race down to the last game of the season. Central had a perfect first half with Dan Burns scoring two goals to put Central in the driving seat, but after half time it was a different story. Chadderton got reduced to 10 men early on but seemed to build in confidence as they pushed Central back and scored two goals in quick succession. The result meant Centrals could only finish 2nd.
