It wasn’t just the Reserves who were celebrating a win against Heyside. Central’s First team completed the double over Heyside, with the first team thrashing Heyside’s first team 5-2.
The reserve team’s win took the side to 5th in Division 4 with 9 points from 6 games. They look to have found some consistency by winning their last 2 games, following a shaky start.
Dukinfield Town ‘A’ are currently second from bottom on 3 points, losing 4 out of their 5 league games.
They lost 4-2 to Govan Athletic Reserves at home last time out. Debutant Sean O’Mara scored a brace for Dukinfield.
They have however struggled for goals this season, scoring 12 this season so far. Their top scorer Ben Mason has 3 goals.
At the back, they have conceded 21 goals. Compare both figures to Central, who have scored 23 and have conceded 16.
Their sister side, Dukinfield Town Reserves are doing better than the ‘A’ side. The former compete in division 3, and have 9 points, just 3 from the top of the table.
Jazzie Marong is still Central’s top scorer on 7 goals from 4 appearances, Nathan Jackson is 2nd with 4 goals in just 2 games.
