After a frustratingly slow start for Central that saw many failed goal attempts with a strong defense from Juniors, they soon picked up when they became 1-0 down after half an hour of game play, with Martin and Knight scoring two goals just three minutes apart.
Central came back with stronger form in the second half of the game where they scored five of their seven goals.
Central manager, Paul McGuire made three crucial substitutions in the 65th minute, subbing off Marcello Arhin, Zak Bell and Kaine Martin for Frank Detou, Remi Untereiner and Mauro Mendes.
Juniors struggled to come back against Central after this as Detou gave a very impressive performance with four goals and one assist which saw Cory Knight get the ball into the back of the net.
The game ended just minutes after Detou’s last goal score, leaving the final scoreline at 7-1.
Central will now look forward to playing Chadderton Reserves in the quarter finals of the Murray Trophy at Ten Acres Lane on 10 February.
